I’ve read estimates that say gas prices could go up by as much as 50%, while electricity could rise by as much as 90% annually.

Then there’s this Obama quote:

"Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket."

So is there an official govt. estimate, or is this something we don’t talk about in public??

i was told to leave my a/c on 80 degrees, but i noticed when it’s on that it goes on and off so frequently, isn’t that pulling energy and will raise the price. I am just wanting to save in electric bill with the raising gas prices and oil prices making FLORIDA charge an extra 15% on our electric utilities. Please advise of what is a good temperature to leave my thermostat that will not be so costly. FYI i am on the 2nd floor of a two story building.

That’s what I heard, but I have no facts or anything to back this up…I can’t even remember who told me this, but is it true? Dose electricy really have a price set by the market? I mean like gas prices are directly linked to oil, so is electricy directly linked to coal prices? It would kind of be cool to fnid out…so is it the next thing to hit record prices?

Holy Molly! Have you seen the gas prices lately? I am now more convinced than ever before to try build a hydrogen generator for my car? I been doing a little research and I found free hyrdogen generator plans at this site http://www.hydrogengeneratorplans.net I am generally a lazy person so if I can find somewhere I can just buy a ready made kit, it would make life so much easier. LOL! Are they such kits available and where can I find them?

I know it’s a little late to argue, but did anyone hear the clip where Barack Obama was saying he’s gonna make coal so expensive by putting a carbon tax on it, and electricity prices will certainly skyrocket? Gas prices are already killing us, why would we want high electricity prices too? What do you think about this clip?

well i went from pissed off about hight gas prices last year to high prices for anything that produces or uses energy.
well i guess my problems have been solved by Obama
