Where to buy tiny generators for experimentation?

I had a few as a kid, and now i cant find them. Im looking for small like d battery size generators with low torque. the kind you could say.. hook up behind a toy pinwheel and the air would spin the wheel creating a small charge, also looking for small electric motors the same size, if anyone knows a web site please help. trying to save the world, lol. not really, just got an idea. and no its not the pinwheel idea but it helps define what im looking for. thanks a bunch.

Small permant magnet motors can be used as generators. They will need a little extra wind to start turning because of the magnets. Try a large radio shack or an online surplus supply store.
